“Daddy’s Spirit” is currently in its
organizational phase. We are presently seeking participation of children ages 8-12 who reside in the Greater Philadelphia (PA-NJ-DE-MD) area and whose fathers have died.
Interested children should complete Daddy's Spirit Participant Application Form (requires MS Word).
We hope to expand both the age ranges of the children served and the geographical reach of the Daddy's Spirit program as time goes on.
It is anticipated that the services to be provided will be in the realm of facilitating recreational opportunities (i.e. field trips, sporting event tickets, musical instruments, sporting goods) in order to meet one of the primary missions of “Daddy’s Spirit” – that it’s OK to have fun again.
Beyond recreational opportunities, we intend to provide specific financial assistance to individual children for the purpose of defraying the cost of organized recreational programs, as well as later defraying the cost of post-secondary education for the children who receive our services.
In order to achieve the dual goals of providing recreational and educational opportunities, we are:
Actively seeking volunteers to serve on our Advisory Board as well as to work with the children and their families.

Actively seeking donors in the states where Daddy’s Spirit is registered to solicit and receive contributions - both cash contributions and in-kind donations are sought.

Accepting applications from children who would like to receive the benefit of our services.
